With a receipt and within 30 days, we will promptly issue a full refund or store credit apart from any exceptions* listed below.
Without a receipt we will issue an exchange or store credit at the lowest selling price, apart from any exceptions* listed below. A valid photo ID and/or Drivers License will be required without a receipt. (Lafayette Shooters reserves the right to deny any returns/exchanges without a receipt.)
All returned merchandise must be in its original packaging, with all product tags attached, and in resalable condition.
Cash will only be issued to cash/check payments as notated on original receipt. All Credit/Debit cards will be credited on the card used for that purchase. All financing purchases are final, no returns and/or exchanges.
All footwear must be clean and require a receipt.
Items on a gift receipt will either be issued store credit or exchanged. All undergarments, swimsuits, mouth calls, whistles, ammunition, powder, primers and/or special orders may not be returned/exchanged.
Once a scope has been mounted on a firearm, the firearm nor the scope may be returned or exchanged.
IN-STORE FIREARM RETURN POLICY
If the firearm has not been fired and is within 15 days of purchase the refunded amount will be 20% off of purchase price. For a full refund Lafayette Shooters store credit will be issued. Sale/Clearance guns are non-refundable.
Defective Merchandise can only be returned within 60 days of purchase and is subject to manufacturer’s warranty.
RETURNS OF WEB PURCHASES
Returns are ONLY accepted for merchandise found defective immediately upon receipt. Lafayette Shooters Wilderness and Western Wear will provide YOUR CHOICE of a replacement item (pending availability) or full refund AND pay the return shipping cost on all merchandise found defective upon receipt. You must call Lafayette Shooters Wilderness and Western Wear in order to receive a return authorization number.
The return authorization number MUST be printed clearly on the outside of the package. If a return package is delivered without a return authorization number, it will be sent back to the return addresses charge on delivery. It is the responsibility of the customer to arrange to have the merchandise shipped back.

Please take your time to inspect all firearms thoroughly BEFORE proceeding with the transfer. Once a new firearm is transferred to you it is considered used, even if unfired. Consequently, we cannot provide a full refund for new firearms once they have been transferred into your possession. Also, we DO NOT reimburse FFL transfer fees on returned items. We do understand that some manufacturer defects may not be identifiable upon initial inspection. However, upon discovering a defect AFTER the transfer, the firearm MUST be returned directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with manufacturer’s warranty policy). By sending a defective firearm directly to the manufacturer, you can avoid the unnecessary transfer fees of returning the firearm to us through your local FFL dealer. If we do receive a defective firearm that has already been transferred, we will simply forward the firearm to the manufacturer on your behalf. Manufacturer repaired firearms can be returned directly to the customer without additional FFL transfer or associated fees. However, if the manufacturer chooses to replace the firearm, the replacement firearm must transfer through your local FFL dealer to document the replacement firearm serial number.
